Whipped Vanilla Cream

A simple whipped cream gently sweetened and finished with real vanilla. Soft peaks, smooth texture, and just enough sweetness to lift—never overwhelm.
FORAGE BAKER'S NOTES
For the best volume and texture, chill both the mixing bowl and whisk before beginning.
Homestead Sweetener incorporates most smoothly when added gradually to cold cream.
For a thicker finish, continue whipping slightly beyond soft peaks, stopping before the cream becomes grainy.
TEXTURE GUIDE
Soft Peaks: Perfect for spooning over pies, cobblers, fruit, and warm baked goods.
Medium Peaks: Ideal for layering cakes and pastries.
Firm Peaks: Best for piping onto cupcakes and desserts.
INGREDIENTS
1 cup heavy whipping cream, very cold
2–3 tablespoons Homestead Sweetener
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Pinch fine sea salt
INSTRUCTIONS
In a chilled mixing bowl, add the cold heavy cream.
Beat on medium speed until the cream begins to thicken slightly.
Gradually add the Homestead Sweetener while continuing to whip.
Add the vanilla extract and sea salt.
Increase the speed to medium-high and whip until soft peaks form.
For firmer peaks, continue whipping briefly, watching carefully to avoid over-whipping.
