Orchard Apple Pie
A warm, classic apple pie filled with tender tart apples, cozy spices, vanilla, and Heritage Sweetener Blend. Add a handful of cranberries for an optional bright, seasonal touch.
Ingredients

About 3 pounds of firm tart apples (around 10 to 12), ie: Pink Lady, Fuji, Cortland, Granny Smith

2 tablespoons lemon juice

2 tablespoons melted butter

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup Heritage Sweetener Blend

1 tablespoon arrowroot or tapioca starch

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon allspice

A pinch of salt

A handful of cranberries, optional

1 prepared Flaky Grain-Free Pie Crust
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 325°F.

Prepare our Flaky Grain-Free Pie Crust and set aside.

Peel and uniformly slice apples into bite-size pieces.

Add the apples to a large bowl with the rest of the ingredients and use your hands to toss and evenly coat the apples.

Add the apples to the prepared pie crust. Cover with the top crust and bake for approximately 1 hour to 1 hour 20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the filling is bubbling.
